Bill Wilson was one of the co-founders of Alcoholics Anonymous and the author of the book Alcoholics Anonymous (also known as The Big Book) and the book, Twelve Steps & Twelve Traditions (also known as The 12 and 12.) If you want to know more about Bill, wiki and google him and you'll find tons. Also, the documentary film, My Name Is Bill W. is excellent.
In a later post, I'll have a few things to say about recovery, therapy and treatment in general, but not here. Respecting the 12 Traditions and all that.
But Bill W. is definitely part of my Extended Family.
