These three pieces are for three of my ex-girlfriends. Only initials. No names. No sordid details. No rehashing about why these relationships didn't work out.
I just need to say this. Only this.
Each of these women were family to me at the time we were dating. Part of my extended family. They mattered deeply to me at the time. They deserve to be remembered with a piece of finely polished wood. Anything more that I say here would be too much. Because it's the freaking internet.
And because all three of these women are still alive, are good people, and, I hope, are happy.
