One year ago, very early in the morning, I had radical prostatectomy surgery, under the skilled hands and hearts of Dr. Juan Chipollini and Dr. Tony Lucas.
I could say so many things but I'll just write a few:
1) My cancer was bad. I got very lucky. My PSA is still a bit worrisome but I'm not slowly dying of a very bad cancer. We caught it just in time.
2) I'm not dead.
3) I'm really happy I'm not dead.
4) I'm really really happy I'm not dead.
5) Everything is slowly getting back to an easy new normal. I don't pee on myself. Great. Mr. Happy is coming back. Great great. I'm not pooping in my pants. Great great great. I'm living large.
6) Did I mention I'm really happy not to be dead?
Thanks to all of you (and there are many) who helped me through this past year. You truly know who you are. Gratitude is too small a word, and that's a 9-letter word, for Pete's sake.
Big hugs & kisses, Stu.
