Stacey Abrams, and her organization Fair Fight Action, through registering over 800,000 new voters, pretty much got two Democratic Senators elected from the state of Georgia, in a special election in January 2021, and flipped the U.S. Senate. It's a huge freaking deal.
Fun fact: She is also a big science fiction fan.
