My old friend Annie Gordon has been wanting me to draw on her big black wall for a while. She was out of town for Christmas, and since I was feeding her cats that Saturday before Christmas, I took the time to draw in chalk, this little Christmas scene. I was just wanting to do a few trees and The Star and some snow and leave it at that. It was only after I'd finished that I noticed I'd drawn three trees. Star over there. Trees over here. And then I thought of the Ents of Middle Earth, being The Wise Men, and that made me smile. I hope this makes you smile too.
