"Grand Canyon Hoop Dance, Arizona" (c) 2012 Stu Jenks
There's a story to tell with this image, but I'll tell it another time. Let's just have the image speak for itself for a change.
Fun Facts: This photograph was taken around 4:30 this morning. That's about as fast of a production turnaround as you'll ever get out of me.
And I wasn't in much danger shooting this. A little, but not much. I tend to be careful and heights don't scare me.
Stu, LOVE your hoop dances! Thank you!

Stu, I opened this image and blurted "Holy sh*t!" -- because the shot is stunning and also because I was freaked out knowing how perilously close to the edge you had to have been.
Love your art, man, really do, but love you more. So yikesies, please promise me that you'll never put yourself in danger to make art.
Holy smokes though. This is the most amazing and dramatic of your hoop pictures and you deserve to get rich from it. Trying to remember...is there a gallery associated with the Canyon site? This needs to be seen and appreciated by a broader audience. So sez I.

Seconding MaryAnn on her comment--all of it. Looking at the end of that spiral, I wanted to call to make sure you were still there...until I realized that you couldn't have sent the email from the floor of the canyon.
In other words, an even more visceral experience than I usually get from looking at your photos, and that's saying a lot!
