Blue Nocturne: An Online Art Show

Hello everyone.

Tim Baskerville and the good folk at Nocturnes.com are accepting submissions for another online nocturnal photography show, this one entitled 'Blue Nocturne.' Two monetary prizes will be awarded, the exact amounts depending on how many people enter. All the specifics are at the Nocturnes site. Deadline for submissions is February 28th, 2009.

The Nocturnes is the premier night photography website, and all the chief moguls there are kind, dedicated, and true hotshot photographers. They are the real deal. (Plus they have great taste in music.) If you do night photography, I would suggest entering.

Oh, and full disclosure? They have asked me to jury the show. I am honored to be of service.

My business model for 2008 didn't work very well. (The economy tanking didn't help much either.) Last year, I made large expensive framed images to sell to people of great means. But this year, along with the big prints, I'm producing inexpensive objects for the struggling middle class, like you and me. Ceramic ornaments and tiles. Coffee mugs. Magnets. T-shirts.
